Frequently Asked Questions – Highland Giants Estate

Highland Giants Estate offers private, self-catering cottages in Dullstroom.

Below are answers to common questions from guests about our accommodation, travelling with your dogs, fishing, hiking, and the surrounding area.

Accommodation & Rates

Why is there a minimum nightly rate?
Our cottages sleep up to six guests, but rates are charged per person, per dog, per night. If the total per-person rate for your booking is less than the cottage’s minimum nightly rate, the minimum applies instead.
Good to know:

  • The minimum applies per cottage, per night

  • Dogs are charged separately and are not included in the minimum

  • Higher minimums apply over long weekends and peak periods

Are your rates per cottage or per person per night?
Rates are per person per night, though a minimum rate may apply.

Why can't I check availability online?
We prefer the personal touch. Availability changes constantly, and all quotes are sent directly by us.

How long before I can expect to hear back?
If I am at my desk, almost immediately. Office hours are irregular due to farm work and family responsibilities, but I will respond as soon as possible.
