by accepting your quote & paying your deposit you accept this policy:
For a cancellation made 31 days or more prior to the arrival date,
25% of the full reservation amount will be forfeited;
For a cancellation made 30 - 21 days prior to the arrival date,
50% of the full reservation amount will be forfeited;
For a cancellation made 20 -11 days prior to the arrival date,
75% of the full reservation amount will be forfeited;
For a cancellation made 10 days or less prior to the arrival date, or on the arrival date,
100% of the full reservation amount will be forfeited.
Bookings are not transferable to alternative dates.

Damages and breakages to / of any items will be for the guests account.
(Damages include burnt pots, dish cloths, oven gloves, kitchen utensils).
Additional cleaning charges may be billed for heavily soiled linens, towels and furnishings.
NO check in will be permitted if the full amount has not been paid upfront.
It is the guests responsibility to check that the booking is for the correct dates.
Guests arriving a day early cannot always be accommodated and
no compensation will be given should a guest get their dates wrong and arrive on the wrong day.
Rights of admission are reserved.
Rates are per person per night, not per cottage per night, additional guests & dogs will be charged for.
There is an additional once off fishing levy payable per person fishing.
Guests dogs remain their own responsibility.
We respectfully request that guests only pay the deposit amount unless specifically requested (1 night stay or a booking for less than 10 days time).
Should you pay the full amount you do so at your own risk.
We do not refund amounts paid, should you pay in full for an advance booking
and have to cancel or make changes to your booking a credit voucher, valid for a minimum of 6 months, will be issued to be used towards a future booking.
COVID RELATED CANCELLATIONS
In order to secure your booking you will pay a 25% non-refundable deposit,
we ask that you don't pay the balance until we request it, as we are living in uncertain times,
we will get in touch nearer your stay & ask for your balance payment before you arrive.
We have implemented this just in case travel restrictions are put in place by the government.
If this does occur we will issue you with a credit voucher for your deposit amount, this will be valid for
a min. of 12 months & can be used towards a future booking.
That being said, we are very hopeful that no restrictions that impact your stay will be enforced as now more than ever people need to be able to breakaway to to the countryside and we are the perfect location for that breakaway as we can pretty much guarantee that you will have your own space and wont come near another person.
Last Minute Cancellations due to a positive covid test (documentation to be provided).
We will do our best to accommodate you with moving your booking, however please note
that an admin fee will apply to this. We request that you advise us ASAP so that we can fill your cancelled place. A credit voucher that is valid for a limited period will be issued for use against a future booking.
When a credit voucher is issued the original booking is cancelled.
Once a new booking is made the credit voucher is applied as a payment & the voucher is no longer valid.
This new booking is subject to our cancellation policy & the voucher can not be carried forward if the new booking is cancelled.
Special Offers -
There are sites on the internet listing special offers many years out of date,
only specials listed on this website, as well as, Sa Venues; TravelGround / LekkeSlaap & Afristay
are to be considered valid.
Please note that advertised mid week specials (online & email) do not include December and school holiday periods, unless otherwise stated.
Special offers are only valid for new bookings and will not be applied to existing bookings. They are valid from the day sent until the offer ends.
