Terms and Conditions for your stay at Highland Giants Estate

Your booking is secured by a 25% non-refundable deposit.
The balance is payable 10 days prior to check-in.
For bookings made less than 10 days prior to check-in, the full amount is due immediately.
No check-in is permitted without payment in full.
If you are booking far in advance, kindly assist us by ONLY paying the deposit and paying the balance when requested.

Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of a quote and payment of non-refundable deposit serves as an acceptance of all policies, terms and conditions and indemnities

Special Offers

If more than one special offer applies for the same period the larger discount amount will be applied to the booking.

Check your Dates

Bookings are not transferable to other dates & cancellation policy will apply where applicable.

We book up far in advance & are not often able to accommodate date changes

Guests must ensure the dates on the web based booking quote are correct.

Early arrivals cannot always be accommodated, and no compensation will be provided for guests arriving on incorrect dates.

Rates

Rates are per person per night, not per cottage, with additional charges for extra guests and dogs.

Full payment is required before check-in.

Terms of Payment

We do not accept screen shots as proof of payment.

No cash deposits (additional fee's will be levied).

Booking will be considered finalised once the funds have cleared our account.

Pet Policy applies

We are delighted to welcome your dog as part of the family.

However, we are a dog-friendly guest farm, not a dedicated dog holiday destination.

We do not offer refunds, cancellations, or date changes if your dog is unable to travel

No Payment Plans

If booking far in advance, please pay only the deposit & the balance when requested.

Monthly payments are not accepted, and additional administrative fees will be charged for each extra payment in such cases.

Cancellation Policy

A reservation that is cancelled or not taken up is regarded as a cancellation and is subject to the following rules:

Cancellation:

31 days or more prior to the arrival date, 25% of the full reservation amount will be forfeited.
30 - 21 days prior to the arrival date, 50% of the full reservation amount will be forfeited.
20 days or less prior to the arrival date, or on the arrival date, 100% of the full reservation amount will be forfeited.

Refund Policy & Credit Vouchers

No Refunds.

We respectfully request that guests only pay the non-refundable deposit amount on booking, unless specifically requested (e.g., 1-night stay or a booking made less than 10 days before check-in).

Should you pay the full amount, you do so at your own risk.

If you pay in full in advance & need to cancel your booking, a credit voucher valid for a minimum of 6 months may be issued to be used as a deposit for a future booking, provided that we can get a replacement for your cancelled booking.

The value of the voucher will be the value of the replacement booking (less applicable admin fee), to a maximum amount of the 75% of the full value of the booking.

Vouchers may have limitations or minimums specific to them. Vouchers are not valid for long weekends unless otherwise specified

Once a voucher has been used against a booking, it cannot be reissued, refunded, nor the new booking transferred to alternative dates.

Payment

We reserve the right

to cancel any bookings where the balance has

not been paid 5 days

prior to check in.

Damages & Extra Cleaning

Guests are accountable for any damages or breakages

including burnt pots, dish cloths, oven gloves, kitchen utensils, mats, blankets

Extra cleaning charges may apply for heavily soiled linens, towels, and furnishings.

Indemnity

Entry into Highland Giants Estate is subject to your acceptance of the Indemnity clause, a confirmed booking is an acceptance of this indemnity for all guests staying and / or visiting over the booking period.

We reserve the right to move a booking to

an alternate cottage

at no notice should

there be unforeseen maintenance or other issues.

Indemnity Clause

I fully understand and accept that entrance into Highland Giants Estate shall be undertaken at my own risk and I understand on behalf of myself and fellow guests to indemnify, hold blameless and absolve the company, its members, their associates, employees, fellow guests and all staff of Highland Giants and any persons connected whether directly or indirectly with any of the aforementioned parties against any claims which may be made arising out of any loss, damage, injury, costs or expense to property or persons while on the property of Highland Giants Estate of whatever nature and from any cause whatsoever so arising, even in the event of negligence of any aforesaid parties.
