Working Farm

General farming activities are ongoing including, but not limited to:

burning of fire breaks, tracer lines, block burns, tree cutting, grass cutting, draining & repair work

Burning & Fires

We limit major activities like burning tracer lines, fire breaks, block burning to midweek off-season periods where possible.

The windows for burning are very small & permission from the relevant authorities must be obtained, we are only advised at 10h00 on a particular day whether we may burn that day & need to grab these opportunities when we can.

These activities are an essential part of land management.

Thanks for your consideration

It is important that we always know how many people are on the farm

Let us know if you plan to arrive on the farm before check in time or leave after check out time

We appreciate your cooperation to ensure a

safe and pleasant stay for everyone.
