Fly Fishing in Dullstroom

Pet Friendly Fishing Accommodation

Fly fish for Rainbow Trout & Largemouth Bass in a variety of still waters
Regret no day fishing, waters are accessible to resident guests only.

Fishing Fee:  R200.00 per person per stay, 
includes the keeping of one fish, if necessary.
Catch & Release is preferred.
Trout R 200.00/kg
Bass R100.00/kg
Bring your own gear or hire in Dullstroom.
Float tubes / kick boats permitted on Loch Heron. 

Rainbow Trout are extremely weather sensitive fish
& a sudden change in temperature or weather will put them off the bite,
it may take a 3 - 4 days of consistent weather for them to start biting again.

We promote as  natural an environment as possible and do not pellet feed our fish.

May & September are our favourite times of year for Fly Fishing.
Though conditions are good in winter this is also the trout's spawning season making fishing challenging.

NOTE:  Stocked waters do not guarantee that you will catch a fish;  Nature
has the final say on fishing conditions.

Largemouth Bass  are awesome to catch on Fly,
they are particularly active in the hotter summer months.
